The Seminole County School Board has failed to improve education at middle school and high school levels. Worse, an average of 5.7% of Seminole's students appear to fall below grade level in reading every year between 3rd grade and 10th grade.
The School Board covers this up by moving students in an "FCAT shuffle," declaring victory and hiding the issues. The school board also aliented parents, so it won't get their help if they admit the issues and ask them to get re-engaged. Until this school board is replaced it will continue damaging generations of students -- our children and their futures.
